After completion, the Department of Higher Education & Training will grant a National Certificate via MICTSETA. The following modules make up the qualification, and they are completed over the course of a year. Computer packages, networking basics, concept of computer architecture, and introduction to system analysis are covered in the first semester. Web design, computer programming, software development, and a software development project are covered in Semester 2.
